Today, I am focusing on what my characters eat in the Jupiter Progress Universe or short for Jupiter Universe. And that, my friends, that is called the most out of this world grilled cheese. So, I guess this would be a series on food. And, when are we going to make this?

Now, of course!

And, where are we going to make this?

Where else, but the one and only place.

To start, let’s check what we have on hand?

We have:

  • bread
  • cheese
  • butter
  • mustard
  • ketchup
  • mayonnaise

Foodies, those are all nice to stuff to have in the fridge but to make this gooey goody, all we need are three items plus a toaster oven.

Three items as in:

Oh yea, we will add some vegetables too.
That will be roasted vegetables.
Grab your favorite bread. May we suggest sourdough? Or if you prefer wheat, multigrain, ciabatta….that will work, too.

My character decided to go with a slight tangy sourdough.
Would you mind slicing your favorite cheese? May we suggest sharp cheddar? Since we have white cheddar on hand, we will go with that.

We are getting a little hungry.

So, why don’t we start already?

Here is to making grilled cheese

Pardon, did I hear you say, “just grilled cheese?” HOW DARE YOU?

Don’t you know, there is no such thing as just grilled cheese. No, not in my world. Let’s redo that. Here is to making the best, out of this world, the greatest grilled cheese!

What do we start with first?

First, make the skillet vegetables.
Sautee your favorite vegetables–peppers, onions, whatever you have or want to get rid of from the fridge.

Not really. stick with onions, red onions,if you want a hint of sweet flavor. But, if you have a penchant for a mild grassy taste, add red pepper and green pepper.

Yea, my characters like to stuff their grilled cheese with the stuff of garden delights in between melting cheese.
