The Napper
Since I am writing a story about cats, I can’t help but stop and greet all the cats. Some I meet in the cat cafe, some I meet when I go over to a friend’s home, and some I meet on the street going to a coffee shop. Others I meet when I go on a walk. They also like to take a catwalk around their yard and the cats I have seen would get curious when I walk by. A few others were sitting on top of a fence watching me. One time, I even saw one napping, not napping sleeping right on the stairs. The sun was out and she was passed out. She was a deep sleeper and didn’t even bother to get up as I was passing by. Anyhow, this one that I met is a definitely a napper. His napping style begs me to do a short storyteller: what do I do all day?
Napper is one who sleeps in between the hours of a day while the rest of the world is going on with their lives.
Duties require busy thinking about sleep and light sleep.
Time to get up would be when the napper decides and since this is a cat world, time is of no essence except when the napping baby determines it to be, and I like to keep that to myself.
Where does a napper nap?
This napper prefers the edge of the table. Not sure why, considering that would be a hazard. But hey, even a napper’s world could be dangerous, living on the edge. Sometimes the napper prefers a solid bare table, other times a fluffy blanket, other times silence.
What does a napper eat?
Well, this one likes to nibble here and there. Now nap time.
How often does a napper work?
Considering, napping is my living, I work the regular hours.
