Two friends holding a conversation about their morning drink
“How do you take your coffee?” asked my friend
“Hot,” I said.
“Very hot,”
“So hot that I can’t drink it immediately,”
If you have to wait to drink it, then why do you take it hot?”
“It’s a morning ritual that I enjoy,”
“A morning ritual I don’t want to break.
I like to watch the hot steam swirling into the air, as the hot coffee cools down.
“Not to mention the aroma of the coffee?”
“Yes, the smell of coffee is strong that it reminds me of the purpose in life.”
“And what is that?”
“To drink coffee.
“Well, at least that is one of my purposes.
I figured you would have known.”
“No, not at all.
I am a tea drinker.”
“A tea drinker?”
“But, I can relate to what you are saying. I like my tea hot, hot enough that I get to wrap my hands around the teacup, feeling the warmth of heat through the porcelain cup to my hands.”
“Not exactly, my tea drinker friend. There is a difference between warmth and hot.”
