She sings goodbyes like lullabies
background voice tuning softly
Like lullabies, lullabies
Then takes off
Like a machine from sci-fi
My heart has had enough
Of her playing
I have to get good at being single
Even if It’s going to be rough
I am going to be tough
Though I try
To be good at being one
I admit
I cry
Still, thirsty for her
chorus
I wanna be a two, two
Two, two
Two, two
I miss her
No Jack
Jose or
Morgan
Can quench this growing desperate thirst
Oh the battle love plays…
The song, She Sings Goodbyes like Lullabies is inspired by the current short novel I am writing. This song is written by Jupiter Progress, created for the character, Lucid, in Robotic Confessions.
How do I hear the sound of this ballad?
I hear a tang of violin in the background, accompanied by a velvety voice drowning in sprited melancholy. I would say more country than bluegrass, though both versions would make a great rendition.
Just for fun, I thought I would add a few more pictures.
Since this is a sci-fi song, I thought salmon skies would go with the mood.
I can hear the song being played over and over, in my head that is. I just need to make it come alive somehow. Until then, I will just have to hear Lucid singing in my head.
