Scider the wizard cat
I was between novels and took a trip to the Netherlands. As I was walking on the bustling street, I saw a cat in a flower shop. At first, I couldn’t believe my eyes. The way the cat playfully posed, seriously stretched and solemnly gazed. As I came close the shop, he jumped in the shopkeeper’s lap.
Since that event, I saw the cat couple of times. And the last time, he stared at me, alas, a story came to my head. The only thing I could do was reach for my iPhone from my pocket and write, write, write. The next thing I knew, Scider, the Wizard Cat was in the making. Shortly, I left the Netherlands and came back to work on the first novel I was working on before I left, but the cat image was still in my head. I had a couple of scenes going through my head. I couldn’t help wonder what was going to happen to Scider. I had to know, so I put my first novel on hold and wrote, wrote, wrote about Scider, the wizard cat.
